How do I make a reservation?

Tell us the car you want, the dates, and where you'd like the keys delivered. Use the Reserve form on the site, or call/text us directly. We'll confirm availability within an hour, send you a quick agreement, and arrange the curbside meet.
What are the driver requirements?

Drivers must be 25 or older with a valid US driver's license and a major credit card in the driver's name. We strongly prefer drivers carrying full coverage personal auto insurance, but if you don't, we offer add-on rental coverage at booking — see "Am I covered?" below. International drivers are welcome with a home-country license, a valid passport, and a major credit card.
Am I covered? Do I need to add my own insurance?

Peak Horizon carries fleet insurance that covers our vehicles and our liability as the owner — but while the car is in your possession, you are responsible for damages during the rental. Renters typically handle that one of two ways:
1. **Bring your own eligible policy.** If your personal auto insurance extends to rental vehicles, you can use it. We verify eligibility before delivery. No additional fee from us.
2. **Add coverage through our insurance partner.** If you don't have eligible personal coverage, we work with an insurance broker who provides rental coverage for an added fee. We quote the total at booking so you can decide before you commit.
Before approving any rental we also review driving history through our partner platform to make sure the trip is a good fit.
Do you offer delivery and pickup?

Yes — free delivery and free pickup at LAX, Burbank Airport (BUR), and every major hotel from Beverly Hills to Universal City. Local pickup is also available by appointment. Custom delivery throughout LA County is available on request; we'll quote it during booking.
Do you offer hourly rentals?

No — every trip is a 24-hour minimum, with some performance vehicles requiring a 2-day minimum. You're free to return the car early, but the minimum applies. The reason is operational: cleaning, fueling, and prepping a car for the next trip takes time, and we'd rather give every guest the full window than rush.
Are there discounts for longer trips?

Yes. 7–27 day trips automatically receive a 15% discount on the daily rate. 28+ day trips automatically receive a 30% discount. Discounts apply to the daily rate only, not to mileage overages. Long-term rentals (a month or longer) are also welcome — call us directly and we'll build a custom rate.
What's the mileage allowance?

Most vehicles include 150 miles per day. The M3 Competition and our luxury SUVs are listed individually on each vehicle page. Beyond the included mileage, the overage rate is $1 per mile (most vehicles) or $1.50 per mile (M3 Competition and CLE Cabriolet).
Is there a security deposit?

Yes — a refundable hold is placed on your credit card at the start of the trip. The amount varies by vehicle, age, and insurance verification (typically $500–$2,500). The hold is released within 3 business days of trip return, assuming no damage, fuel, or mileage charges apply.
What happens if I return the vehicle late?

We grant a 1-hour grace period at no charge. Beyond that, late returns are billed at 20% of the daily rate per hour. After 5 hours late, a full additional day applies. If you know you'll run late, just text us — we can almost always extend the trip on the fly.
What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We can also accept ACH bank transfer or cashier's check for long-term rentals. We do not accept personal checks or business checks.
Can I rent if I'm under 25?

Drivers must be 25 or older. We don't currently offer underage rentals — our commercial insurance policy requires a 25+ minimum. We're happy to coordinate with an additional named driver who meets the age requirement.
Can I add a second driver?

Yes — up to two drivers per agreement, both 25 or older with valid licenses and listed on the rental contract. There's no extra fee for the second driver.
What if I need to cancel my reservation?

Cancellations made 7+ days before pickup: full refund. Cancellations 48 hours to 7 days out: 50% of the daily rate. Within 48 hours of pickup: non-refundable. Life happens — if you're in a tough spot, call us directly and we'll work with you.
What if there's a recall or my reserved car becomes unavailable?

Almost never happens, but if it does: you'll get a free upgrade to the next-tier vehicle in our fleet, or a full refund — your choice. We'll let you know as soon as we know.
Can I take the car off-road or to the track?

No track use, no racing, no off-roading on any vehicle. Our insurance excludes these uses, and we maintain every vehicle for street duty. Pacific Coast Highway, Mulholland, Angeles Crest — all welcome. Willow Springs, the Pirelli course, the dunes at Pismo — please rent from someone else.
Are pets and smoking allowed?

Smoking is not allowed in any vehicle — a $250 cleaning fee applies if smoke is detected at return. Pets are welcome on a case-by-case basis with a $100 cleaning deposit; please mention it during booking so we can confirm.
Will I get the exact vehicle I reserved?

Yes — we run a small fleet and rentals are vehicle-specific, not class-based. The car you book is the car you get. In the rare event a mechanical issue or recall takes a vehicle out of service, we'll either upgrade you free of charge or refund in full.
